Perfect Christmas Trees

Tomorrow, Friday, December 4th, Team Perfect is volunteering at the San Francisco 2009 Guardsmen Christmas Tree Lot at the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion in San Francisco: I'm the Day Czar and I'll be there all day! Come by -- meet Team Perfect and find yourself a Perfect Tree. Since 1947 The Guardsmen has been helping at-risk youth with the resources they need to thrive. Each year The Guardsmen sends 2,500 youth to outdoor education programs and provides scholarship support more than 250 students at Bay Area private schools. HOOYAH!

What are you doing this holiday season to give back to your communities? Post a comment and let us all shout you out!

I rang the bell for the Salvation Army for an hour. Not the most exciting hour of my life, but definitely a worthy cause.

"It is better to give than to receive." I've found this to be true in MANY different situations. My favorite: Notice how you're more excited on Christmas morning when a person is RECEIVING something you gave him/her, even though you may be excited about something you're expecting to get for yourself. Even as a child. As you get older, you realize giving is better than getting in every way.

CMDR sir:

Will be at the North Babylon NY Applebee's ( Sold OUT!) at a Toys for Tots event.

Next is to help out a local unit who has men in the sandbox.

That will be my "Perfect" Christmas. Helping the people who gave me freedom.

May God bless the Troops and their Families. I will never ever forget what a gift you give to me every day of my life.
